ABOUT US

In the fall of 2015, the brothers of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity started developing the idea of creating a charity event benefiting veterans. The idea of Volley for Vets was born, founded by Brothers Cole Rickert and Matt Bernard. 

Brothers Rickert and Bernard developed the inaugural event and proceeds went to the Wounded Warrior Project. After our first Volley for Vets, the brothers of Phi Kappa Psi developed it even more, to grow into an annual philanthropy focusing on benefiting our community. We shifted our focus from the Wounded Warrior Project to the Dubioustown VFW Post 6673. 

We wanted to be able to meet and know who we were helping and be able to build a relationship with the veterans in the greater Williamsport area to strengthen our connection to the community.
